Financial Aid Application Process:

Step 1: Gain Acceptance to Brescia University

To receive federal, state and institutional financial aid, all prospective students must be accepted to Brescia University. Applications may be submitted online.

Step 2: Obtain a Personal Identification Number (PIN)

A PIN may be obtained by visiting www.pin.ed.gov. A PIN allows both the student and parent to electronically sign the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). A PIN may be obtained at any time, but do allow 3-5 business days for processing.

Step 3: File the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

FAFSA informs Brescia University of a student’s grant, loan, and work study eligibility from federal and state sources. The Financial Aid Office also uses this information to determine need-based institutional fund eligibility.

NOTE: Be sure to identify Brescia University by entering our unique code: 001958 on your FAFSA form so that we can access the required information

Step 4: Students will receive a financial aid award letter.

Upon completion of the above steps, the student will receive a financial aid award letter from Brescia University outlining all sources of aid that the student is currently eligible to receive.

Step 5: Student will sign and return financial aid award letter.

The student is asked to sign and return the financial aid award letter to the Financial Aid Office within two weeks of the date of the letter. By signing the award letter, the student is asking Brescia University to retain those funds until the student enrolls for courses or withdraws their admissions application.
